How We Handle Your Data

There are no accounts on this site. No registration, no login, no payment details — nothing here is built to take them, which removes most of what a privacy policy usually has to explain.

If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with it.

What arrives automatically is the ordinary technical data any web server records: which pages were opened, an approximate region derived from the IP address, browser and device type, and the referring link. We look at it in aggregate to work out which explanations land and which do not.

The site is served over an encrypted connection and holds no account database, no passwords and no payment records. That is a design decision rather than a boast — data that was never collected cannot be exposed.

The little we do hold, meaning server logs and aggregate analytics, is kept only while it is useful and is never shared for marketing purposes.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what data relates to you, request its deletion, or object to how it is processed. Because we hold so little, and because none of it identifies you by name, requests like these usually resolve quickly.
